Many AOL users are having problems registering. 

If so are you using the embedded AOL browser or Mozilla? (not good)

You should have IE (Internet Explorer) on your system as well (if on a PC).  When in an AOL session open up IE go to the site and try to register.

I have also seen problems with folks accessing the site from Google instead of entering the url directly.

If so use this url in IE-
