Hello Guys and Gals. I am overwhelmed with the Responses to the PIGROAST... I wanted to Thank You for attending. Some people say You made my day ... week... month...or year ... believe me ... looking at all your faces when you seen someone you have not seen in years...and the hugs and laughs was priceless to me ... you guys made my life... The best part for me was when you all sat down ... on the floor to listen to our senior sheep Henry Cancel..tell us the story of the Blacksheep... dedication our missing man table ceremony and then watch a 45 minute picture show ... yes, you guys did not budge for 45 minutes...40, 50 and 60 year olds sitting on the floor like kindergartners during recess... i stood there for a moment gazing out from behind the screen saying to myself
WOW this was so worth it..all the time invested..was in one moment ... realized. I do need to apologize ... sorry about the PIG.. I told the hall from the beginning. I wanted a big pig on a spit with the apple in the mouth...but that did not happen ... they roasted a small pig and put it on the table...... they ran out of draft beer at one time.....and did charge for wine. Which I immeaditly told the hall management that that was unacceptable ... so those items were addressed. I Do need to thank some people... Louis Lilla... DJ Anthony Cross For our Old Classic Rock Music... Robert Stridiron for being our Professional Photographer for the Night, My Son Nicholas Barranco.. for helping out with "T" shirts.. Coffee Mugs and Stickers... Frankie Filloramo for helping out with "T" shirt Distribution..... My Wife Jeanette for putting up with me "Pigging all night long" for 4 months and George Cook.. For being my right hand man in this adventure of a lifetime ... and for his Website Some Stats... over 900 Pics Submitted... 562 Shirts ... 325 coffee mugs... 1000 stickers.. Yes i do have some stickers left... mail me your name , address, contact info, first come first serve basis...I will mail them to you 10 for $10.00 shipping included, enclose a check...
